hotel von aussen Built in a typical Sicilian Baroque style, this 18th-century villa has completely been restored, with the greatest care and attention being paid to the finest details.

The villa has a spacious garden (2000 square metres), embellished with a large Caltagirone vase collection with several cacti-plants, which the hostess takes care of. There are corners in the shade of pines, eucalypti and citrus-groves in which you can enjoy a relaxing moment and dedicate yourself to reading your favourite books.

Furnished with antiques, the villa, formerly the Domenicians' summer residence, is now an elegant and spacious place to spend a relaxing Mediterranean break.

suite Each of the bedrooms has been specially designed with comfort in mind. They are luxurious, spacious, light and elegantly furnished. All the rooms have a veranda from which you will enjoy a stunning view over the Mount Etna, so you will be able to view lava flows or the snow-clad top in the cooler months.

You can choose from single, double (with double bed or twin beds), triple or family suite (with two twin/double rooms).
The triple room is a large room with one double bed (or two single beds) and a third bed king size.
The family suite has two double rooms and one private bathroom inside one room.

The rooms are cleaned every day and the bedding is done twice a week.
Each room has private bathroom, very large and cleaned.

During the summer time breakfast is served outdoors under the veranda, where you can enjoy a marvellous panoramic view and a very good climate. During the winter time you will be served in the austere breakfast room, furnished with typical Sicilian ceramics.

Take motorway Catania-Messina (A18) and along
this way take Giardini Naxos exit.
From Giardini Naxos exit, the villa is far just 5 min. by car, you have to follow the brown signs with Villa indications that you will find in the road along the direction to Chianchitta and after Calcarone.
It is very easy, but pay attention, drive slowly in order to don't lose the indications!


By train
Once arrived at Taormina train Station we will came to pick-up you.

By airplane
From Catania airport you have to take motorway Catania-Messina (A18) and on this way take Giardini Naxos exit.
From Giardini Naxos exit, the villa is far just 5 min. by car, you have to follow the brown signs with Villa indications that you will find in the road along the direction to Chianchitta and after Calcarone.
