By airplane
The flying time from Athens international airport to Santorini is approximately 40 minutes. Santorini national airport is located near Monolithos beach, about 6 km south east of Fira. The transfer time between Fira and the airport is about fifteen minutes by car.
By boat
To reach the island of Santorini there are daily ferry boat services connecting the Athens port of Piraeus to the harbour of Fira. The boat trip takes about 7 hours.
