By car
From the North: the A19 highway will bring you into the city centre and inner ring road via Bootham. From the traffic lights at the end of Bootham you will see the city walls, bear round to the right, pass the Theatre Royal on your left. At the next set of traffic lights turn right over Lendal Bridge, first left at the next set of traffic lights onto Rougier Street. At the second set of traffic lights turn left onto Micklegate. The hotel is situated immediately on the left. Pass the hotel and turn left at the traffic lights onto North Street. The hotel entrance is on the left.

From The South: from the M1 join the A64 which is sign posted Tadcaster - York. Take the A1036 for York West and follow signs for the city centre. You will pass York Race Course on you right hand side. Continue on this road until you come to a traffic lighted junction and the city walls are directly in front of you. This is the entrance to Micklegate. Go directly across the junction and through the archway onto Micklegate. Continue down Micklegate to the bottom and the hotel is on the left just after the traffic lights. Pass the hotel and turn left at the lights onto North Street. The barrier entrance is situated on the left which gives you access to the drop off point.

From The Airport: Join the M62 until you reach the junction for the M60. Join the M60 until you reach the junction for the M56. Join the M56 and follow the signs for York west city centre. You will pass York Race Course on your right hand side. Continue on this road until you come to a traffic lighted junction and the city walls are directly in front of you. This is the entrance to Micklegate. Go directly across the junction and through the archway onto Micklegate.
